Atom #1 gets first win
Coach Casey introduced our Lucky Charm Leprechaun "Stanley" to the Team and Stanley got us off to a good start. It wasn't pretty but Port Atom #1 ground out a win over St. Mary's #1 yesterday with a score of 6-3.
Despite forgetting some of the fundamentals, the team played very hard and took advantage of our speed and some lucky opportunities in front of the St. Mary's net to pick up the win.
Goals came from Bryse, Evan L., Matthew, and Corson, with all the forwards picking up one assist. Congrats to Jackson on his first win as a goalie.
The Kids continue to demonstrate an excellent attitude toward hockey and great improvements to skating and stick handling.
