As a way to create a safe and inclusive environment for the coming season, the OHF requires a “pre-season chat” specific to Gender Diversity to take place at the beginning of each season, in order for everyone to be aware of the policy.
Several parents and coaches have requested that copies of the Gender Expression and Identity Training be provided to facilitate their team discussions. Similar to the Rowan’s Law training you did earlier this preseason, a 100% completion/compliance rate is expected for the Gender Expression and Identity Training so we have added a similar sign off for sign-off to aid in our record keeping.
Violations of this policy will result in discipline, up to and including suspension, so please pay attention!
