I/P Program
This program is for young player learning the game of Hockey. Play will be Cross Ice as per Hockey Canada Mandated Guidelines. Junior I/P Division will use the smaller nets, both Junior and Senior Divisions will use the lightweight "Blue" pucks

Junior I/P: Under 6 years of Age
A progressive, learn to play teaching curriculum. Children learn through participating in practice drills and small area games such as relays, obstacle courses and skill development games. Structured towards players aged 5 and under or beginners. Ice time starts in October and will be on Saturday Mornings Only.

Senior I/P:
Under 8 Years of Age
A progressive, learn to play teaching curriculum. Children learn through participating in practice drills and informal and modified games, such as cross ice hockey, relays and obstacle courses. Structured toward players 6-7 years of age who can skate on their own. Ice time starts in October and will be on Saturday Mornings and Monday Evenings. Following Dec 1st a schedule of games will be in place which may fall on varying days of the week.

Note: 7 year olds will have the option of playing Sr. I/P "Cross Ice" or Novice "Full Ice" if desired.

Local League: Novice to Midget
Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget all have Local League teams. Travel house league style of schedule. Twenty game schedule with at least one practice per week (more with shared ice practice). Away games within 30-60 minutes of Port Stanley Arena. Following the first 6 games of the regular season teams will be re-seeded into divisions with similar skilled teams. No Boundaries, everyone welcome to play. No Body Contact.

Rep (Shamrock): Novice to Juvenile
Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam Midget and Juvenile all have Rep teams. OMHA Rep level hockey. 22-26 game schedule, with at least one practice per week (more with shared ice practice). Away games within 60-90 minutes of Port Stanley Arena. Playoffs could require up to two hours travel time. Try outs will be held in early September (if required). Must be in bounds player. NOTE: BODY CONTACT is ALLOWED in Bantam, Midget and Juvenile Divisions Only.
