Preschool

This program is for young player learning to skate and the game of Hockey aged 4 and under. Play will be Cross Ice as per Hockey Canada Mandated Guidelines. Preschool will use the smaller nets, and use the lightweight "Blue" pucks.  One day a week – typically Saturday mornings starting the 1st weekend in October ending the 1st Saturday of the March Break.

U7 (For 6 years old and under)

A progressive, learn to play teaching curriculum. Play will be Cross Ice as per Hockey Canada Mandated Guidelines. Initiation will use the smaller nets, and use the lightweight "Blue" pucks.  Children learn through participating in practice drills and informal and modified games, such as cross ice hockey, relays and obstacle courses. Structured toward players 5-6 years of age who can skate on their own. Ice time start the first week of October and will be on Saturday Mornings and Monday Evenings ending the 1st Saturday of the March Break. Following Dec 1st a schedule of games may be in place which may fall on varying days of the week in other local centers.

U9 (7 & 8 year olds)

Local League: U11 - U18

U11, U13, U15 and U18 all have Local League teams. Travel house league style of schedule. Twenty game schedule with at least one practice per week (more with shared ice practice). Away games within 30-60 minutes of Port Stanley Arena. Following the first 6 games of the regular season teams will be re-seeded into divisions with similar skilled teams. No Boundaries, everyone welcome to play. No Body Contact.

Rep (Shamrock): U9 - U21
U9, U11, U13, U15, U18 and U21 all have the possibility of an OMHA Rep level hockey team. 22-26 game schedule, with at least one practice per week (more with shared ice practice). Away games within 60-90 minutes of Port Stanley Arena. Playoffs could require up to two hours travel time. Try outs will be held in early September (if required). Must be in bounds player. NOTE: BODY CONTACT is ALLOWED in U15, U18 and U21 Divisions Only.
