Atom LMLL 2, Atom, 2015-2016 (Port Stanley Minor Hockey)

These Atoms have their work cut out for them. Struggling to get it together coming into the 3rd period with one goal from Logan David, down 2 goals, Parker Vaughn managed a hat trick and put 3 in the net with the help of his teammates. Dorchester managed one more goal but our awesome Goalie Weston Locke kept the wolf from the door many times! Unfortunately one questionable goal called against our team counted, bringing this stressful first game (parent point of view)  to a tie of 4-4. Be prepared Dorchester we will be ready for you Saturday!

First up Dorchester Dragons, with an early season loss to Dorchester, One win and a tie this seems to be a worthy opponent. This Tuesday the Atom II will play their first game of the first round against them. Play hard team you can do it!! 

This Atom team came together in many ways over the weekend!  Coming through the tournament with a win, tie and loss, but not enough to advance to the finals. Weekends like this bring the team (and parents) a little closer and build moral for them to be even better in the last stretch of the season! Great weekend everyone!   

Holy Tamole! Wow what a game today Port Stanley was the team on fire against the Aylmer Flames. Probably the best yet, way to play together as a team. Well earned goals by Ryan W, Ryan S and Logan but they couldn't have done it without everyone. Excellent defense and Weston you rocked again. Keep up the great work Sailors!

Though the Atom 2 team may have had a little too much turkey over the weekend they sure finished the tournament with a nail biting game. Five minute overtime and then to a shoot off!! Excellent playing by everyone and hats off to Weston for some stellar saves!
