Peewee Rep, Peewee, 2012-2013 (Port Stanley Minor Hockey)

On Saturday Feb. 23rd Our PeeWee Rep. Sailors advanced to the Semi-finals of the Shamrock playoff B pool.

Terri and Rick Benwell have invited the PeeWee Rep. team and siblings to Benwell Stadium for a unofficial practice and sledding. 5519 Jones road, Port Stanley After 7pm on Friday Feb. 15th.........B.Y.O.B. Helmets are mandatory and no body contact, as the coaching staff is way to old.

The Port Stanley PeeWee Rep. Sailors are ready to make a strong play-off run. After, getting off to a slow start 0-7-2, 2 points in there first 9 league games. The Sailors finish there last half of the season of 8-5-0 16 points. And hope to continue that strong second half right threw the playoffs. In this coaches opinion, this team is just starting to come together. Confidence, discipline, and aggressive play are the keys to our teams playoff success.  

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. This Sunday's practice, Is now an Exhibition game Vs Belmont. (Dec. 30th at 7a.m.) We are working on a date for a game in Belmont as well. Belmont is a team in our OMHA playdown pool, that played there season in the Shamrock League PeeWee A.E. pool. And have been bumped up for playdowns and Shamrock playoffs. Belmont has a very good record in that loop. We are looking for a better effort this weekend, after a very disappointing one last Sunday in Thamesford. Hopefully our players are feeling better, and there cold's and flu are behind them.

Saturday Vs Southwest Bullets in Port. Sailor's play there best hockey the first half of the game building off the Monday's game in Ilderton. And then coast the second part of the game and hang on for a 4-1 win there 3rd win in a row and 4 wins out of 5 games. Sunday in West Lorne. Sailor's continue to coast, and are outplayed from the start right to the end of the game. Losing 5-1. This game is a wake up call. Sailor's have a big weekend ahead playing 3 games in 3 days. A good test as Two of the teams we are hoping to play in the up coming playdowns. This Friday night, It all start's ...
