Coach Mac! Still Going Strong!
Coach Mac may have retired from teaching at Parkside Collegiate Institute, but he is still going strong! Over the past four and half years Coach Mac (Kevin Macintyre) Has dedicated countless hours of his time volunteering and mentoring our U5, U7 and U9 Sailors.  He has become an invaluable asset to Port Stanley Minor Hockey

This past week as a token of appreciation, I had the privilege of presenting Coach Mac with some Port Stanley Minor Hockey swag, more specifically a PSMHA branded training suit.  During my visit to the shared U9 practice, it didn't take long to realize just how much Coach Mac means to this group. He truly cares and has connected well with all these players. There is no doubt they have learned many things while on the ice with him. Like myself, many of the coaches and parents around our organization and community can recall having Coach Mac as a teacher at Parkside of the years.  He was definitely a school favourite and is Parkside Blue to the core! However, there is now a little Sailors Red in his core as well.

On Behalf of Port Stanley Minor Hockey Association, Thanks for everything Coach Mac!

Coach Mac was also Nominated for Volunteer of the month in the online magazine Boomers and Beyond.  The Article can be found here: https://online.flippingbook.com/view/797990839/4/#zoom=true
