The first program of its kind in the area, PHD uses cutting edge training and teaching methods to push players outside their comfort zone. Mike Ellis Bio Owner, Founder and Head Instructor Progressive Hockey Development Mike is an experienced and focused individual with a real passion for skating and skill development in today's fast paced game. Mike has played and coached against top hockey nations throughout Europe and has absorbed and developed many teaching techniques that he shares with all athletes he works with. As a coach an instructor Mike believes in detail and technique. He believes the old theory of 10,000 repetitions to master a skill can be drastically reduced through delivering a detailed progression based plan and providing the right information to the athlete. This higher level of detail helps the athlete to absorb the information with more focus.×
