An amazing season!
The Tyke Red team played their final games of the season at the OMHA Hockey Festival this past weekend making for an undefeated season!
After breezing through the first two games the team met their toughest competition of the year in their final game of the tourney. After a quick entry to the scoreboard, the tide quickly shifted putting the boys down a goal or two for the majority of the game. Our goalie handled the pressure like a pro making some incredible saves. The boys played with heart and ferocity dealing with multiple injuries and some unfortunate penalties. With grit and pure determination (and some incredible footwork and scoring) the team pulled together to win the game by one in the last couple minutes of play. The season as a whole has been an unparalleled experience. The boys all bonded, both on and off the ice and helped each other to become an undefeated force in the league.
