Close Call
The novice rep team clawed their way back in a close second game of their OMHA playdown series with the Southwest Bullets. The Bullets took an early lead on the first shift of the game and managed to maintain that lead until the third period. The Sailors held the advantage in territorial play for the whole game, but found themselves knotted at 3-3 at the end of regulation time. Fortunately, Mason Cummings poked in a rebound on the first shift of overtime to complete the come from behind victory! Parker Vaughan, Andrew Monteith, and Logan David each chipped-in with one goal apiece. Assists went to Vaughan, Monteith, Daxton Lessard, Caleb Todd, Ryan Ward, and Josh Reiger. Southwest and Port Stanley are currently tied in the series 2 points apiece.
