With West Lorne visiting two evenly matched teams played end to end hockey that kept the players, fans and coaching staff on the edge of their seats today in Port.

The Peewee team had to skate and work their butts off to pull out a much deserved win today.  With a changing of  lines, and players in new positions the team skated away with their hardest effort of the season.  Many of the players played their best game today.  We had premium chances to score but their goalie came up big when needed (plus a few missed nets).  Our goaltender made some big saves and the defense were there to help battle the puck away keeping the affair to a low scoring game.   Down 2-1 the team kept grinding and eventually capitalized on strong forechecking  and persistence to tie the game with about 40 seconds left.  Port continued with their aggressive forecheck and put another goal past the West Lorne goalie with 4.4 seconds left to seal the victory.

The coaching staff is stymied as to why the players are waiting until the last seconds of the game to win but with two in a row they are not complaining.
