Ingersoll Bantam LL Tournament
This past weekend saw the team participating in the Ingersoll Bantam LL Tournament. Some excellent hockey skills were displayed at this event.
We can not say the same for the referee skills. Despite losing the first game 1-2 against the Ingersoll Express, the team came back and won the next 2 games against Strathroy and Mount Brydges. The finals saw us paired up with another Ingersoll Team. We came out on the losing end at a score of 3-5. However, it was quite an accomplishment as we went into the tournament with 6 forwards and 3 defence. Not even half way through the game, one of our D was given a hitting from behind and removed from the game. Despite being short on the bench, the team never gave up and battled to the end. Good Work Fellas!! Our next challenge will be to show the Aylmer Flamers 2 who the boss is, prep for battle troops!! GO SAILORS GO!!
