Season Opener
GREAT job yesterday boys. The coaching staff was ecstatic to see that much effort! We noticed all the players playing great positional hockey and utilizing some of the drills we have been working on. I know some of the parents mentioned the possibility of being moved up to play in the "rep" division. I think they have been listening to the St.Thomas coach.
Regardless, the season is early and I'm sure we are going to have some good challenges in the games ahead. I've been checking some of the other scores in the "ae" division and it appears that our game Wednesday against Ilderton will be a true test.
As noticed by the coaches and parents we do have 2 exceptional players,but it takes more than 2 players to make a competitive team. We would like to say "great teamwork" to everyone! All players should be proud of the way they played,I know the coaches are! This is what it takes to finally be on the winning end of a lopsided game.
