        ·         Point ties in standings will be decided by the following scale:

                    o   Most wins

                    o   Head to head record

o   Goal differential - formula: total goals for /total goals for + goals against

                    o   Least penalties

                    o   Coin flip

14)   In the event of tie at the end of the third period in the finals, overtime will be as follows:

        ·         5 minutes of sudden death overtime.

        ·         If teams are still tied it then goes to 5 minutes of 3 on 3 sudden death overtime.

        ·         In the event of a penalty during 3 on 3 overtime play, the offending player will serve the penalty, non-offending team will put an extra player on the ice. (4 on 3)

        ·         Once the penalty time has been served the offending player will return to the ice and continue 4 on 4 until the first stoppage of play.

    ·         At that time the game will return to 3 on 3 format.
    ·         If the game remains tied there will be a 3 player per team shootout. Both teams must have the 3 players that are to participate in the shootout circled on the game sheet PRIOR to the start of the game. If game is still tied after the shootout, the shootout continues with the first player on the game sheet from each team that has not shot. This continues 1-1 until one of the teams comes out ahead.
